Subscriptions of Periodicals

Believe it or not, TIC pays for all our print and periodical subscriptions.  We read all the major newspapers as well as over 50 periodicals.  We have customized some of our programming to combine multiple periodicals in an effort to bring as much information to our consumers as possible.

You can show your support for TIC by purchasing one of our annual subscriptions.  The impact of your gift would be profound as TIC spends close to $3,000 annually on these subscriptions.  Click Here to see a list of the periodicals and their costs.

VOICE (Vocational Opportunities In Communications Education)

With a gift of $20,000 we could duplicate the Voice Program in one of our affiliates.  We currently have 6 affiliates that we could offer this ground breaking first in the nation program to.  To learn more about how the VOICE program is changing the lives of young blind individuals by giving them the experience and training to succeed in the professional world, click here.

Volunteer Program

TIC could not operate without the generosity of its volunteers.  There are more than 600 volunteers state wide that offer their time to come and read for our listeners.  They ask nothing in return and are rewarded by the notes of gratitude and knowledge that they are brightening the day of our listeners.

To show our gratitude, TIC hosts an appreciation reception every year in honor of all the work they do for us.

With a gift of $1,000.00, it would cover the cost of the reception and awards.

With a gift of $500.00 it would cover the annual cost of the daily supply of coffee along with cups, stirrers, sugars and creamers that we provide to all our volunteers.

With a gift of $250.00 would cover the cost of the throat lozenges, halls and hard candies that are available for all our readers.
